Customer Service and Utility Billing
Division Responsibilities
The Customer Service and Utility Billing Division is responsible for the city’s water, wastewater, and stormwater utility bills. In addition to accepting payments, the customer service representatives can handle questions about your bill and requests for utility connections or disconnections.

Billing Cycles
The City of Pittsburg is divided into three billing cycles, the 5th, 15th, and 25th of each month. Your property location within the city determines your billing cycle. Bills are delinquent if not paid by the due date, as shown on the bill.

Delinquent Accounts
Once an account is delinquent, a 10% charge is added to your account and a shut-off notice is mailed. This new notice allows 10 additional days to pay the account in full, otherwise service will be disconnected. Once service is disconnected, a $25 re-connection charge is required to be paid, in addition to the original bill and late charge, before service is reconnected.
