Pittsburg Public Library is joining the American Library Association to celebrate National Library week, April 23 through April 29, 2023. This year’s theme is “There is More to the Story.”
Libraries are full of stories in a variety of formats from picture books to large print, audiobooks to ebooks, and more. But there’s so much more to the story.
Library programming brings communities together for entertainment, education, and connection through book clubs, story time, teen programs, crafting classes, lectures, and more.
Library infrastructure advances communities, providing internet and technology access, literacy skills, and support for businesses, job seekers, and entrepreneurs.
Pittsburg Public Library is so thankful for the continued support of our community who check out materials, attend programs, bring their families and friends to the library, buy books from the Friends, and use library technology-both inside and outside of the building.
