The Pittsburg Memorial Auditorium and Convention Center (MACC) is a unique, historic building in the heart of downtown Pittsburg, and at the heart of our community.
Built in 1925 and renovated in 1984, Memorial Auditorium houses two distinct spaces: the auditorium on the upper level, and the convention center on the lower level.
While we’re at the vibrant center of the Pittsburg community, we also love to welcome guests from surrounding areas and even further afield. Visitors come here to enjoy fantastic theatre productions, exciting new regional and national artists, up-and-coming comedy acts, and high-quality local arts, as well as private and business functions.
The Auditorium
Our auditorium seats more than 1,500 people, features one of the largest stages in the state and brings new excitement to Pittsburg music and entertainment scene. Advanced technology, experienced production and marketing teams, and modern amenities combine to provide a comfortable, laid-back vibe where you can relax and enjoy time with friends.
In addition to national acts, we’re also your place for local arts and theater performances programs for audiences of all ages, including partnerships with Pittsburg Community Theater, Pittsburg High school Theatre and Midwest Regional Ballet.
Whatever your reason for visiting us, you’ll find delicious refreshments in our open kitchen and cool beer and wine at our bar.
