Advisory Board Seeking Applications

PITTSBURG, KS – The City of Pittsburg is seeking candidates for the appointment of one new member to the Eleventh Judicial District Community Corrections Advisory Board.

The Eleventh Judicial District Community Corrections Advisory Board formulates a comprehensive plan of the development, implementation and operation of community correctional services in Cherokee, Crawford and Labette counties.

Completed applications must be submitted by noon on Friday, September 13, 2019, to the City Clerk’s Office at PO Box 688, Pittsburg, or by emailing tammy.nagel@pittks.org.

The new board member will be appointed during the Pittsburg City Commission meeting on September 24, at 5:30 pm, at the Beard-Shanks Law Enforcement Center, 201 North Pine St., Pittsburg.
