Residents in Pittsburg can now pay their water bill over the phone 24 hours a day, seven days a week, thanks to the City’s new automated phone payment system. The system became available Thursday, May 17, giving customers another secure payment option.
“Customers can now pay their bill over the phone without needing to wait for a customer service representative during business hours,” says City of Pittsburg Customer Service Manager Tammy Crays. “We all know how busy life can get, and being able to pay your bill anytime of the day or night gives people more flexibility.”
The new automated phone payment system is one of several ways customers can pay their water bill. Payments can also be made online, in person, by automatic withdraw, by mail, or using the City’s drop box located at City Hall.
Customers can call (620) 231-4100 to pay their bill or discuss additional payment options. More information is available on the City’s website: www.pittks.org/customer-service.
