Filing deadline for City Commission candidates June 3

PITTSBURG, KS – Terms of three Pittsburg City Commissioners will expire in January 2020. Anyone interested in filing for one of these open seats must register with Crawford County Clerk by June 3, 2019, at 12:00 pm.

Qualified candidates must be registered voters and residents of the city of Pittsburg at the time of the election. The General Election will be held on Tuesday, November 5, 2019. To file, visit the Crawford County Clerk’s Office located in the Crawford County Courthouse at 111 East Forest Avenue in Girard, Kansas, or call (620) 724-6115.
