Historic Kiddieland Amusement Park turns 70

PITTSBURG, KS – The Pittsburg Parks & Recreation Department will celebrate Kiddieland Amusement Park with a 70th Birthday Celebration on Saturday, July 22 from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm at Kiddieland.
This local attraction inside Pittsburg’s Lincoln Park has created treasured memories for kids and families since it opened in 1953. A miniature train, roller coaster, Ferris wheel, airplane rides, and a carousel are just some of the fun features of this unique Pittsburg gem.
During the Kiddieland 70th Birthday Celebration, visitors will enjoy $1 rides and concessions, face painting, snow cones, and more.
As an added treat, Chirag Patel with Pittsburg Dairy Queen is donating 70 Dilly Bars, 70 StarKiss Bars, 70 Hot Dogs, and will sponsor the first 70 tickets sold in honor of Kiddieland’s 70th Birthday.
