Pittsburg Parks & Recreation Department to host Give Thanks: Just 4 Fun Run

PITTSBURG, KS – Work off a few extra calories before the Thanksgiving feast! The Pittsburg Parks & Recreation Department is gearing up to host its annual Give Thanks: Just 4 Fun Run on Thursday, November 28 starting at 8:00 am, at Wilderness Park, 907 W. McKay St., in Pittsburg.

This event is open to runners of all ages and fitness levels. Community members are encouraged  to bring their entire family (including canines) to run, walk or jog the Wilderness Park 5K course.

Pre-registration is not required for this race. Timing clock is available but the event is not officially timed, nor does it include awards. There is no fee to participate but donations will be gladly accepted for Everybody Plays for continued improvements to Schlanger Park.
