Pittsburg Parks & Recreation Department to host virtual O.K. Kids Day events

PITTSBURG, KS – The Pittsburg Parks & Recreation Department is hosting a virtual O.K. Kids Day event now through November 14, challenging kids and families to several fun outdoor activities they can do together.
There are seven challenges to complete during the event. Each time participants complete a challenge, they simply post a picture inside the O.K. Kids Day Facebook event to be entered to win a prize.
The PPRD will also hold a grand prize drawing. To be entered into the grand prize, all participants need to do is complete a challenge. The more challenges you complete, the more opportunities to win the grand prize. Those who complete all seven challenges will get seven tickets with their name entered in the grand prize drawing.

Prize winners will be announced on Friday, November 13 in the Virtual O.K. Kids Day Facebook event. Winners can pick up their prizes at the Holiday Craft Fair on Saturday, November 14, between 10:30 am – 1:00 pm at the Pittsburg Farmers’ Market Pavilion.
Families can also register to receive a free adventure box full of outdoor activities and crafts. The registration deadline is November 12.
