Pittsburg Parks & Recreation introduces T-Ball

PITTSBURG, KS – The Pittsburg Parks & Recreation Department is introducing a new summer T-Ball program starting Wednesday, August 9 for ages 3-4 and Thursday, August 10 for ages 5-6.
T-Ball is a great chance for kids to learn to the fundamentals and rules of the sport at a young age. It’s also a great opportunity to get the kids outside this summer.
Teams will play six games over four weeks, with each game starting a 6:00 pm. The Pee-Wee league season starts Wednesday, August 9 and ends Wednesday, September 6. The Advanced league season starts Thursday, August 10 and ends Thursday, September 7. Teams will be coached by volunteer coaches. Contact the Parks & Recreation Department if you are interested in serving as a volunteer coach.
