South Rouse pavement work scheduled for September 16

PITTSBURG, KS – On Monday, September 16, crews are scheduled to pour concrete along the west side of South Rouse St. from Centennial Dr. to Mt. Carmel Pl., weather permitting. Work will begin at approximately 6:30 am. Flaggers will be in place to direct traffic while construction work is conducted.

After the concrete pour on September 16 is finished, crews will have one more pouring to complete the pavement on the west side. Following the completion of the final pouring, crews will complete curbs, intersections, driveways and sidewalks.

Residents and motorists should expect minor delays. The City of Pittsburg is asking motorists to use extreme caution when traveling in the area of construction and be aware of workers in the work zone.
