Street Improvements on West 3rd Street to begin September 14, 2020

PITTSBURG, KS – Weather permitting, street improvement work will begin September 14 in the area of West 3rd Street between Walnut Street and College Street, and on North Olive Street between 3rd Street and 4th Street.

Work includes removal of the existing asphalt and concrete repairs, and will take place between regular working hours of 8:00 am and 5:00 pm.

Advance notification signs will be in place during construction. Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes when possible, to use extreme caution when traveling in the area of construction, and be aware of workers in the work zone.
