Tree trimming and removal along East Quincy to begin this week

PITTSBURG, KS – Over the next several days, Evergy will begin the process of tree trimming and tree removal in the East Quincy Street area, between Joplin Street and Rouse Street, for the relocation of their power lines for the East Quincy Street Improvement Project.

Motorists and pedestrians traveling in the area of construction are encouraged to seek alternate routes when possible, to use extreme caution, and be aware of workers in the work zone.
