PITTSBURG, KS – Join Pittsburg Parks & Recreation Department for a “Virtual Give Thanks Turkey Day Trot” on November 26 and 27.
To participate, go to the “Give Thanks” Facebook event at https://bit.ly/GIVETHANKSPPRD and walk, jog, or run on Thanksgiving Day or the day after at Wilderness Park. Once completed, snap a selfie of you and your friends or family on your run and post it to the event page. You can also tag Pittsburg Parks & Recreation on Facebook using @PPRD1 to be entered into a prize drawing.
Wilderness Park will be open 8:00 am – 5:00 pm for use. No need to register or track your time, just have fun, snap a picture, and be active. For more information on how to participate, contact the Pittsburg Parks & Recreation Department at (620) 231-8310.
