Water Tower Work to begin May 21, 2018

Sandblasting and Painting of the south water tower located at Madison and Joplin will begin May 21. This work will include the sandblasting and re-painting of the interior and exterior of the water tower as well as performing specified tank modifications. Madison and Joplin Streets may be temporarily closed at different times throughout the project. Work is anticipated to be completed by July 31, 2018.

Traffic barricades and advanced warning signage will be placed along this segment of Madison and Joplin Streets as needed. Motorists are encouraged to use extreme caution in the work zone or to plan a different travel route during this construction.
